Dr David Bailey - Sports Physiologist
David works as an exercise consultant providing training and coaching advice to athletes of all abilities. He attained his qualifications in sports science and exercise physiology at Loughborough University and has put his extensive knowledge into action whilst working as an exercise physiologist with elite athletes representing their country at World Championships and Olympic Games.
David worked alongside the British Cycling team during their preparations for the Beijing Olympic Games where the team won 14 Olympic medals including 8 golds. He has worked with athletes from British Swimming, Canoeing, Orienteering, Squash, Rugby and UK Athletics. Most recently David provided scientific support to the British Triathlon team working closely with multiple World Cup winners and ITU World Champions.
David is the founder of i-performance and developed the company to provide athletes the opportunity to get world leading expert advice for training, nutrition, injury management, sports medicine and of course performance enhancement.

John Dennis - Sports Physiotherapist & Biomechanist
John is a Chartered Physiotherapist who has been working in elite sport for 11 years and through 3 Olympic cycles. He has been a member of Team GB at the last two Olympic Games, with British Badminton at Athens in 2004 and British Triathlon at Beijing in 2008. The past three years have been spent working with the elite British Triathlon team based in Loughborough. John also competes regularly in triathlons from sprint to Ironman, cycling events and Xterra. John now runs his own bike fitting business based in Milton Keynes (www.velomotion.co.uk).
Recognising the importance of bike position with regard to performance, comfort and injury prevention, John saw the limitations of static bike fitting and also 2-D video analysis that is traditionally used to assess everyday to elite level performers. Consequently, having researched the scope of the Retül 3-D dynamic fit system, the most accurate data analysis can now be used to fit a bike to a rider

Dr Roger Palfreeman - Sports Physician
After qualifying at Sheffield Medical School in 1997, Roger began work as the Team Doctor to the British Cycling Team, initially combining this with training in General Practice (with a Specialist Interest in Sports Medicine). Roger fulfilled this role until very recently, being privileged to be part of the highly successful Great Britain Cycling Team at three Olympic Games, as well as numerous World Championships.
He now combines Musculoskeletal Clinic sessions with more general Sports Medicine work and a number of cycling-related projects. Roger is a very keen cyclist, regularly competing in long distance Cyclosportives. He is a Foundation Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine, a member of the UK Anti-Doping TUE Committee and Advisor to UK Anti-Doping (UKAD).

Dr Kevin Currell - Sports Nutritionist
Dr Kevin Currell is a Senior Performance Nutritionist with the English Institute of Sport. He works primarily with the Great Britain Triathlon team but has supported many Olympic and World Championship level athletes, not only in triathlon but in other sports too, notably Canoe Slalom and Short Track Speed Skating. Kevin has vast experience working with elite endurance athletes and has made an important contribution to the recent success of Great Britain’s Triathlon team ahead of the London Olumpic Games.
Kevin completed his PhD at the University of Birmingham conducting research into the effect of differing types of carbohydrate on endurance performance. Kevin was also awarded the prestigious IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition in 2008.

Michelle Dillon - Athlete Advisor
Michelle is a former international runner who found success at a young age competing for Australia at the junior world cross country champs, She went on to compete in the 1994 Commonwealth Games where she reached the final of the 10,000m event. Michelle then moved to triathlon in 1997 and achieved intenational success which included becoming a two-time Olympian and European champion.
After a career of success, sweat & tears Michelle began coaching elite and age group endurance athletes many of which have achieved international success. Bob Smith - Strength & Conditioning Coach
Bob is a fitness consultant specialising in Strength and Conditioning and is currently working with the British Paralympic team as they prepare for the 2012 London Paralympic Games. Prior to this Bob was a lecturer in Sport Science at Loughborough University where he taught physical fitness and training science for over 10 years. Following this he was appointed the Head of Strength and Conditioning at the English Institute of Sport, during which time he worked with Olympic athletes in a variety of sports including swimming, athletics and triathlon. His philosophy for strength and conditioning in endurance sports is specificity is key and all gym based strength development should complement sport specific training rather than replace it. Bob is an accomplished Fell Runner, Ironman Triathlete and has a passion for ultra distance events, for him, the harder the better!
Dr Jamie Pringle - Performance Consultant
Jamie completed his undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science and his PhD in cardio-respiratory exercise physiology at Manchester Metropolitan University. He then held the position of Senior Lecturer at the University of Brighton, where his passion for good communication in science was developed and encouraged. Here, he also consulted extensively with road and track cyclists, distance runners and team sport players. He now works for the English Institute of Sport, working with Great Britain National Teams across a variety of sports.
